Where are all of the Solid Digit Star Notes? There are only 3 star notes known with solid digit serial numbers. They are:

$1.00 1963A G22222222*
$1.00 1999 F22222222*
$10.00 1950C A11111111*

Solid Digit Star notes are rare because of the low printings of most star notes. If only 40,000,000 star notes are printed for a given series and district, only the Solid 1, 2 and 3 would be printed. The total printing must be at least 11,111,111 in order for a single solid to be made. While this is commonplace for regular notes, it is unusual for a star note printing to get that high.
