The 1862 issue of Confederate Notes was authorized by the Confederate Congressional Acts of April 17, 1862 and April 18, 1862. They are considered the Third, Fourth and Fifth Issue of Confederate Currency.

The Following Notes are from the Act of April 17, 1862.
