The "T #" designator is a catalog number used to identify confederate currency. These numbers come from the book Confederate and Southern States Currency, by Grover C. Criswell, Jr.

Although there are several different reference books that attempt to catalog confederate currency with a wide range of numbering systems, the Criswell numbering system seems to be the most widely used and recognized among confederate currency enthusiasts.
