$50.00 National Currency
1st Charter Period

The first charter was from 1863 through 1882.

The vignette at the left of the face is "Washington crossing the Delaware." The vignette on the right of the face is "Washington at Prayer". The vignette in the center of the Back is the "Embarkation of the Pilgrims".
