Second Issue Treasury Notes
The Second issue of of the War of 1812 Treasury Notes was authorized by the Congressional act of February 25, 1813.
$5,000,0000 was authorized and a total of 4000 $1000 notes and 5000 $100 notes were issued. This issue was for 1 year notes bearing interest of 5.4%.
Although there are 900 notes outstanding, none are known.
