James A. Baker III was President Ford's Undersecretary of Commerce and Natinal Chairman of Ford's presidential campaign in 1976. Under president Reagan, Baker spent time as Chief of Staff, as a member of the National Security Council, and Chairman of Reagan's Economic Policy Council. He also served on Reagan's 1980 election campaign, and George W. Bush's 2000 election.

He also served as the Secretary of the Treasurer for President Reagan. More recently, Mr. Baker serves on the board of directors of EDS.
