Donald T. Regan

Donald Regan is a Harvard graduate, was a Lt. Colonel in the Marine Corps, went on to be CEO of Merrill Lynch, and he was President Reagan's first Secretary of the Treasury.

While serving as Secretary of the Treasury, he was elected to be the Chairman of the Depository Institutions Deregulation Committee, which was created by Congress to deregulate the banking and S&L industry.
