Web Notes are $1.00 Federal Reserve Notes printed on an experimental "web press" that was designed to print the face, back and overprint in one printing on a "web fed" or continuous sheet of paper. This experiment did not save the government time or money as predicted so it ceased with the printings of Series 1995$1.00 notes.
The faces and backs of Web Notes are similar to notes from the regular issue. The faces do not have Plate position numbers (as they are printedin continuous feed) and the backs have the plate number printed above the "ONE" instead of below it like the regular issue notes.
