Edward Everett Edward Everett

(April 11, 1794 - January 15, 1865)

Edward Everett was born in Boston, Massachusetts on April 11, 1794. He graduated from Harvard University in 1811. He served as a U.S. Representative from Massachusetts from 1825-1835 and U.S. Senator of Massachusetts from 1853-1854.

Mr. Everett temporarily served as the Secretary of State from November 6, 1852 to March 3, 1853 after the death of Daniel Webster.
