William McKinley

William McKinley

(January 29, 1843 - September 6, 1901)

William McKinley, Jr. was born in Nile, Ohio. He started his carerr as a lawyer and was a U.s. Representative from Ohio from 1877 through 1884 and from 1885 through 1887. He served as Governer of Ohio from 1892 through 1896 and was elected President of the United States. He was assassinated in office in 1901.
