Daniel Webster

(January 18, 1782 - October 24, 1852)

Daniel Webster was born in Salisbury (now Franklin), Ne Hampshire. He was elected to the House of Representatives to represent both his native state, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. He was also elected to the Senate, representing Massachusetts.

He served as Secretary of State under Presidents Harrison, Tyler and Fillmore.
